With years of experience in agriculture and vineyard management, Leo Flores made the decision to partner with Francisco Soto in 2012-2013. Leo was well-versed in field operations, while Francisco contributed the necessary legal expertise with his contractor's license. Together, they formed a strategic partnership with a clear vision: to provide specialized agricultural labor for the care and maintenance of vineyards.
They began as contractors, offering services to renowned wineries in Napa Valley. Thanks to their dedication, knowledge, and strong work ethic, their company grew rapidly, eventually managing labor across over 5,000 acres of vineyards. Their efforts not only ensured exceptional vineyard management but also became a cornerstone of the region's viticulture industry.
While everything was progressing well for Leo, with the support of Francisco, over time, he began to develop a clearer vision for his future. At just 28 years old, despite having no experience managing his own business in the United States, Leo decided to take a bold step in his career.
In 2014, he obtained his contractor's license and founded his first company, Leo Flores Farm Labor. Through this new venture, Leo began providing specialized agricultural labor to some of Napa Valley's most prestigious wineries, quickly establishing himself as a key player in the industry.
The path to success was not without challenges, but Leo's unwavering determination and resilience kept him moving forward, even when the road ahead seemed uncertain. As a result, his efforts soon began to bear fruit.
By the end of the first year of operation, the results of Leo Flores Farm Labor were nothing short of remarkable. Leo was astonished to see that his sales had far exceeded his expectations, reaching figures he had never imagined. This initial success not only reaffirmed his commitment but also fueled his drive to work even harder, leading to a remarkable threefold increase in sales in the second year.
Recognizing the tremendous growth of his company, Leo made a pivotal decision to ensure his continued success: he transformed his business into a corporation, setting the stage for even greater expansion in Napa Valley's viticulture sector.
